Entering its fourth season, the Kerr Village Farmers Market at Heritage Square includes locally grown non-organic items as well as organic produce, value-added foods and hand-crafted merchandise. Enjoy breakfast/lunch at the market cafe while listening to weekly musical performances or attending one of our regularly scheduled special events. Free admission.

The Carousel of Nations is back for the third year in Kerr Village. Pavilions from countries around the world offer a diverse showcase of crafts, visual and performing arts and ethnic food. Skateboarding competition, live performances and activities for kids are also planned throughout the day. Free admission.

A spook-tacular event! Scavenger hunt for kids 10 and under. Hustler’s Haunted Hideaway for teens. The Kids Zone includes face painting, live entertainment, games and activities. Live musical performances. Free admission.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

6 pm to 9 pm

Join us for the 16th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Sample holiday treats from Kerr Village restaurants as we light the evergreen on Heritage Square. From local school choirs to on stage musical performances to strolling Victorian Christmas Carollers, our live entertainment will please children of all ages. Santa Claus will be on hand to take special requests.

Santa Claus Parade

Experience the Santa Claus Parade on Kerr Street.  The theme for 2010 is A “Reel” Christmas at the Movies. Come out and celebrate the sounds of the season with local marching bands, costumed characters and mascots—rain or shine.

3on3 Road Hockey Tournament

Open to all road hockey enthusiasts ages 8 and up. Sign up as a team or individually. Minimum of 3 players plus one goalie. Maximum of 6 players plus one goalie. Recreational and competitive levels. Championship games. Prizes are awarded. Proceeds benefit youth programs at the Kerr Street Ministries.
